November 2018

Another trip to the wonderful island of Gozo in November. One of the most memorable trips I've made. Beautiful weather and scenery. Most grateful to Inna, and Derek for the loan of his car and use of one of his houses.

Now, back in the village again, it really is that time between Autumn and Winter.

October 2018

It is, most definitely, now Autumn. For a change, I haven't been running around much.

September 2018

I take a trip to Kharkiv. Quite an adventure. Nice people.

Back in Astcote, I'm still chasing that bird.

And the cat doesn't seem to be bothered by that bird.

Lovely Autumn scenes now.

July 2018

This is quite a month. July often is. Harvesting with a gigantic combine harvester up the road.

A couple of nice old cars at John's Garage up the road.

Bins looking clean in Pattishall

Rare meeting with my brother for his 75th birthday and cousins Rosemary and Joyce somewhere in Stafford.

My car gets another clean - possibly the first since October!

For Kirri's birthday we go to silverstone and gaze at many lovely cars, including one that is almost the same as what I used to drive in the 1980s.

Kirri's girlfriend Emma's 21st birthday

Rupert's 75th card from me

It's warm again.

Penny from across the road in the village makes me these wonderful embroidered cards.

I meet the lovely Inna on-line

Kirri's 20th birthday card

I learn how to use Google Hangouts and that's my evenings occupied for many months to come.

June 2018

With increasingly annoying roadworks on the A5 my journey from anywhere south requires quite a detour now!

The big cows are back in the far paddock.

Poppies around the drainpipe outside my front door.

It really did get damn hot in June!
